1. About Kashfetti

Kashfetti is a consumer money-recovery service operated by Crooks Group LLC, a Florida limited liability company (Florida Department of State filing number L25000437910, formed September 22, 2025), with its principal office at 66 West Flagler Street, Floor 9, Miami, Florida 33130. Kashfetti helps individual United States consumers find money they may be owed, file claims for it themselves, and track those claims, including unclaimed property held by state governments, consumer class-action settlement payouts, airline delay compensation under EU 261, UK 261, US Department of Transportation, and Canadian Air Passenger Protection Regulations, small-claims actions related to unwanted marketing calls and texts under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, medical bill audit and dispute assistance, and Texas property tax appeals.

By creating a Kashfetti account, subscribing to a paid tier, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.

2. What Kashfetti is not

Kashfetti is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We provide information, document templates, form-filling tools, and tracking tools. You represent yourself in any claim you file. You are responsible for reviewing every document generated for you before you sign, submit, or mail it, and for deciding whether to pursue a claim.

For state-specific legal questions, consult a licensed attorney in your state. Kashfetti does not represent you in court, before any administrative body, or in any negotiation with a defendant, settlement administrator, airline, state agency, or telecommunications carrier.

3. You can always file yourself for free

Every claim Kashfetti helps you with can be filed by you directly, at no cost, with the state agency, settlement administrator, airline, or court that receives the claim. You file each claim yourself on the official settlement or state website. Kashfetti never files, signs, or submits a claim for you and never receives claim payments. Any paid Kashfetti feature is a charge for tools such as form filling, templates, alerts, and tracking, not for the ability to file the claim. Public information about how to file directly is available from each receiving entity.

Find Money (unclaimed property held by states). Find Money is free. Kashfetti charges nothing for it and no part of it is in a paid plan. Kashfetti is not an unclaimed property finder, locator, or agent, and does not act for you. Find Money opens each state’s own official website inside the app and shows your own name, and any former names you added, with Copy buttons. Kashfetti never types anything into a state site for you. You paste or type your name, run the search, complete any robot check, and file any claim yourself, directly with the state. Kashfetti never files, signs, or receives any claim or money for you, and the state pays you directly. Searching and claiming on a state’s official site is always free.

4. Account registration

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to create a Kashfetti account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up and to keep it updated.

5. Subscription and payment terms

Kashfetti offers a free tier and plans to offer subscription tiers and one-time purchase options. Paid plans and purchases are not on sale yet, so no one is charged today. Planned pricing (as of the Last Updated date above) is:

• Free: $0. Search and browse across all modules, view real matches with real amounts, use educational content.
• Pro Annual: $34.99 per year. One-tap claim fill (Kashfetti fills your own details into the official claim form; you review it and tap the site’s own Submit button), instant alerts, and the weekly state digest, plus 3 certified-mail sends included per year once certified mail is available (see certified-mail terms below).
• Pro Monthly: $5.99 per month. Same features as Pro Annual, with certified-mail sends unlocked over time (see certified-mail terms below).
• Pro+ Annual: not offered right now. Planned at $49.99 per year, once Medical Bill Audit is available: everything in Pro, plus unlimited Medical Bill Audit filings.
• Pay-per-claim: no per-claim fee for class-action settlement claims or unclaimed property. $4.99 for an airline delay verification and claim submission.
• Medical Bill Audit standalone: $19.99 per year unlimited, or $9.99 per single bill unlock.
• Property Tax Appeal: $49 per appeal ($39 for Pro or Pro+ subscribers). Available for Texas properties only at this time. If a non-Texas property address is submitted, the purchase is refunded in full automatically.

Prices displayed at kashfetti.com or inside the Kashfetti application at the time of your purchase control if they differ from the list above.

Auto-renewal disclosure: Pro Annual, Pro Monthly, Pro+ Annual, and Medical Bill Audit Standalone Annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize Kashfetti and its payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method for each renewal. The renewal price, renewal frequency, and cancellation instructions are shown adjacent to the payment button at signup and repeated in a confirmation email sent within minutes of your purchase.

Advance renewal notice: For annual subscriptions, Kashfetti will send an email reminder at least thirty days before each automatic renewal charge. Monthly subscriptions renew each month without a separate advance notice; you may cancel at any time before the next monthly renewal.

Certified-mail sends (Pro and Pro+): Every Pro or Pro+ subscription includes 3 certified-mail sends per twelve-month period, shared across all modules. Pro Annual and Pro+ Annual subscribers have all 3 sends available immediately on subscription. Pro Monthly and Pro+ Monthly subscribers unlock 1 send after 60 days of continuously active subscription, a second after 120 days, and the third after 180 days. This tenure schedule is disclosed at signup at the same visual weight as the price and again at any in-app moment before a send is initiated. Any certified-mail send beyond the 3 included in a twelve-month period is charged as a pass-through fee of $9.50 per additional piece, confirmed and charged at the time of send. Certified mail is a planned feature and is not available yet.

How to cancel: You can cancel any subscription at any time from the You tab inside the Kashfetti app (Manage subscription) or from kashfetti.com/account (Manage subscription). Both open the secure subscription page run by Stripe, our payment company, where you choose Cancel and confirm it. You may be asked an optional question about why you are leaving; you can skip it, and your answer never affects your cancellation. We may also show you one offer to stay, on a single screen with a clear option to decline it and finish canceling. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. There is no cancellation fee, no requirement to contact support or speak to anyone, and no waiting period. Access to paid features remains available through the end of the paid period.

Launch price for the first 100: The first 100 people to join the Kashfetti waitlist, counted in the order they signed up, keep the launch price of their Kashfetti plan (including if they switch between plans) for as long as their subscription stays active without a break, even if we raise prices for other customers. If the subscription ends, for example after you cancel and your paid period runs out, and you subscribe again later, the price at that time applies. Unsubscribing from our emails does not affect your place. This launch price stays in effect if Kashfetti or its business is sold or transferred to another company. If Kashfetti stops offering the service, your subscription ends and we refund the unused part of any annual period you have paid for.

Unlock rewards: When the money you recover through Kashfetti reaches these totals, you earn a reward: $250, one free certified-mail send; $500, one month of Pro; $1,000, six months of Pro; $2,500, twelve months of Pro. Kashfetti Pro is not on sale yet and certified mail is not available yet. A reward you earn before then is kept: Pro months unlock when Pro launches, and a certified-mail send can be used when certified mail launches. Only money you have actually received on a claim filed or tracked through Kashfetti, and that Kashfetti has confirmed (for example from the payout record or proof you send us), counts. Amounts you enter yourself without confirmation do not count. Free and paid members both earn rewards. Rewards never expire. Each reward is earned once per person, including if you delete your account and open a new one. Certified-mail sends cover Kashfetti’s own fee for them, not fees charged by anyone else. If you have a paid plan when you earn Pro months, we add a credit to your account equal to the price of that many months of Pro on your billing period (for an annual plan, that share of the annual Pro price), so your next charges are covered until the credit is used, and your plan then renews as usual. If you are on the free plan, you get Pro for that period without paying, and nothing renews or charges you when it ends. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold. If a payout that counted toward a reward is reversed or turns out to be wrong, we may remove rewards that depend on it and have not been used yet.

6. Refund policy

Subscription money-back guarantee (Pro Monthly): A first-time Pro Monthly or Pro+ Monthly subscriber may request a full refund within thirty days of the first monthly charge, unless the subscriber has sent certified mail through Kashfetti.

Subscription money-back guarantee (Pro Annual): A first-time Pro Annual, Pro+ Annual, or Medical Bill Audit Standalone Annual subscriber may request a full refund within sixty days of the first annual charge, unless the subscriber has sent certified mail through Kashfetti.

The certified mail exception: for both windows above, the money-back guarantee does not apply if you have sent certified mail through Kashfetti, because each mailing has real printing and postage costs. A mailing counts as sent once it has gone to the printer, even if it is later returned; a mailing that was cancelled or failed before that does not count. Kashfetti checks its mailing records for your account to decide this. Outside these windows, or once certified mail has been sent, the subscription is non-refundable, but you may cancel to prevent future charges. Kashfetti does not offer pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a paid period. To ask for a refund, email hello@kashfetti.com from the email address on your account with the subject line “Refund Request”. Kashfetti handles each request by hand.

Pay-per-claim refunds: One-time filing fees ($1.99 e-file, $9.99 paper mail, $4.99 airline delay verification, $9.99 single-bill Medical Bill Audit unlock, $49 Property Tax Appeal) are non-refundable once the filing has been submitted, mailed, the verification has been performed, or the audit has been generated. These fees pay for Kashfetti's automation and submission work, not for the outcome of the claim. The $19.99 Medical Bill Audit Standalone Annual is a recurring annual subscription and is governed by the 60-day annual money-back guarantee above, not this pay-per-claim rule.

Property Tax Appeal - non-Texas automatic refund: The Property Tax Appeal service is available for Texas properties only at this time. If the property address you submit is outside Texas, Kashfetti automatically refunds the full $49 (or $39 subscriber price) purchase price, regardless of use.

No refund on rejection outside Kashfetti's control: If a state agency, settlement administrator, airline, court, medical provider, insurer, or telecommunications carrier rejects or does not act on your claim for reasons outside Kashfetti's control (including but not limited to ineligibility, missing documentation, incorrect information supplied by you, statute of limitations, duplicate claims, or discretionary denial by the receiving entity), no refund is due. Kashfetti delivers the filing or dispute service; the receiving entity decides the outcome.

Refund on Kashfetti error: If a claim is rejected because Kashfetti submitted the filing incorrectly (wrong form, wrong recipient, incorrect field mapping, or a similar Kashfetti-caused error), Kashfetti will refund the applicable filing fee. Contact hello@kashfetti.com within thirty days of the rejection with your account email and the filing details.

7. User attestations

When you file a claim through Kashfetti, you certify under penalty of perjury that the facts you provide are true and complete, that you are eligible for the claim you are filing, and that you understand the eligibility criteria displayed to you before filing. Falsely attesting to eligibility or facts is a crime under applicable state and federal law and may result in claim denial, clawback of any payment received, civil penalties, and criminal prosecution.

Kashfetti has no obligation to verify your eligibility for any claim. That verification is the responsibility of the receiving state agency, settlement administrator, airline, court, or telecommunications carrier.

8. Your indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Crooks Group LLC, Kashfetti, and their officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: your use of Kashfetti; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any law or the rights of a third party; any information you submit that turns out to be inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent; or any claim you file through Kashfetti that is denied, disputed, or investigated by any authority.

9. Limitation of liability

KASHFETTI IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF INFORMATION. KASHFETTI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY CLAIM WILL BE APPROVED OR THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE ANY SPECIFIC AMOUNT OF MONEY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KASHFETTI'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID KASHFETTI IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS.

KASHFETTI IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, EVEN IF KASHFETTI HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Dispute resolution and arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.

Who this section applies to: this arbitration provision applies to any dispute arising from your use of any paid Kashfetti service (any Pro, Pro+, or standalone subscription, or any pay-per-claim purchase). Free-tier accounts that have never made a paid purchase from Kashfetti are not bound by this arbitration provision. The 30-day opt-out below is available to every subscriber; unless you opt out, you agree to the arbitration provision as your exclusive dispute-resolution mechanism the first time you make a paid purchase.

Any dispute between you and Kashfetti arising out of or related to these Terms or the service (subject to the paragraph above) will be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitration will be conducted in the United States, in the federal judicial district where you reside, or by video conference at the arbitrator's discretion or at your request. You and Kashfetti waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, consolidated proceeding, or any other collective or representative proceeding.

No fee-shifting: Each party bears its own attorneys' fees and costs in any arbitration under this section. Neither party is entitled to recover attorneys' fees or costs from the other party as a result of the arbitration, regardless of the outcome, except where a statute applicable to the underlying claim specifically provides otherwise and cannot be waived. AAA administrative and arbitrator fees are governed by the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules in effect at the time the arbitration is commenced.

30-day opt-out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending an email to hello@kashfetti.com with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" within thirty days of first accepting these Terms. Include your full legal name and the email address associated with your Kashfetti account. Kashfetti will confirm receipt of your opt-out in writing. An accepted opt-out removes you from this arbitration provision only; the rest of these Terms remain in force.

Small claims carve-out: Either party may bring an individual claim in the small claims court of the county of your residence, up to that court's jurisdictional dollar limit, without going to arbitration. If a case is filed in small claims court and then removed or expanded beyond that court's jurisdiction, this arbitration provision applies to the removed or expanded case.

Enforcement and severability: This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq. If any part of this Section 10 is held to be unenforceable, the remainder of the section remains in force. If the class-action waiver in this section is held unenforceable as to any particular claim or in any particular forum, that claim (and only that claim) must be brought in court, and the rest of the arbitration provision continues to apply to all other claims.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time with “Delete my account” in the You tab of the app. Deleting your account cancels any subscription immediately (not at the end of the billing period), so paid features end right away and you are not charged again; it does not by itself refund the rest of the period, but the money-back guarantee in Section 6 (including the certified mail exception) still applies if you qualify: email hello@kashfetti.com from the email address that was on your account. If you want to keep using a paid plan until its period ends, cancel it first and delete your account later. Kashfetti may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms, fraud, misuse of the service, or non-payment. Upon termination, your data will be handled per the Privacy Policy retention schedule.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. For any dispute not subject to arbitration under Section 10, or for any action to enforce an arbitration award, exclusive venue lies in the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction there. The Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq., governs the interpretation and enforcement of Section 10.

13. Changes to these Terms

Kashfetti may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, Kashfetti will notify account holders by email and post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
